INFORMATION ABOUT GAB
The Gdańsk Academy of Banking (GAB)
was set up in 1992 as an organizationally and financially separate unit of The Gdańsk Institute for Market Economics.
Since 1995 GAB has been a member of the European Bank Training Network - an association of major bank training organizations in Europe.
The Academy is a not-for-profit organization. It finances its operations from donations, grants, and fees paid by seminar delegates.
The mission of GAB is to train personnel for modern financial market institutions.
GAB was a co-initiator of the Qualification Standards System in the Polish banking sector. Now, GAB is the leader in providing training services and examinations within this Qualification Standards System.
Over the last ten years 28,000 delegates from over 250 domestic and foreign financial institutions and enterprises took part in training courses and conferences organized by the Gdańsk Academy of Banking.
